Community Partnership Brings Public Artwork to Southwest D.C.

Pepco is committed to creating facilities that safely and reliably serve our customers, and contribute to the larger community. At the Waterfront substation in Southwest D.C., we partnered with the District of Columbia Commission on Arts and Humanities to feature public artwork from District-based muralist Katherine Mann and sculptors David and Eli Hess. The result of this partnership is a functional and attractive facility that demonstrates the value of public artwork – activating neighborhood spaces for residents and visitors alike.
