“There are so many people who can make a huge contribution if they are only given the chance,” said former Delaware Governor Jack Markell. Pepco Holdings is doing exactly that.
We recently joined The Precisionists to launch an innovative program that provides employment to dozens of local adults with autism. Individuals taking part in the program are identified, assessed, trained, and employed by The Precisionists, and carry out project-based work at Pepco Holdings, including managing and updating databases, supporting the processing of solar application invoices and requests, and entering and analyzing data for our customer care organization. Participants provide support to all of our utilities, which include Atlantic City Electric, Delmarva Power, and Pepco. All work is performed at The Precisionists Innovation & Technology Center in North Wilmington, Del.
“A diverse team of people – with different backgrounds, experiences, cultures and perspectives – makes us a better company and a stronger community partner,” said Mike Poncia, vice president of Customer Operations for Pepco Holdings.
