Pepco Features DC Artist’s Work at Waterfront Substation

As a part of life in the District of Columbia for more than a century, Pepco is deeply connected to our local communities. The new Waterfront Substation in Southwest provides safe and reliable energy to our customers, while showcasing public artwork from celebrated local artist Katherine Mann.

In partnership with the District of Columbia Commission on Arts and Humanities, and with the input of area residents, Pepco worked with Mann, creating a series of vibrant murals inspired by the Potomac River’s aquatic life. The vivid murals enliven the Waterfront Substation and reflect Pepco’s commitment to not only provide energy to our customers, but to fully energize the communities we have the privilege of serving.
