Pepco and the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) recently hosted the DC Plug Contractors Forum to connect with local Certified Business Enterprises (CBEs) and introduce new contracting opportunities tied to the DC PLUG initiative, a major infrastructure project to improve electric reliability by moving vulnerable power lines underground across several Wards in the District.

The forum provided insights into project construction needs and timelines and reinforced the commitment to working with local, diverse contractors and engaging with the communities we serve.
