It’s that time of year again—backpacks are being filled, pencils are sharpened, and classrooms are buzzing as the new school year gets underway! To help get local teachers ready, Pepco once again teamed up with NBC-4 and Donor’s Choose for “Ready 4 School”, a program that supports local teachers and gets kids pumped up for the new school year!

This year, Pepco is proud to donate $1,100 to Ms. Henderson, a first-grade teacher at Raymond Elementary School, to help fund her classroom wish list on donorschoose.org. These funds will go directly toward the materials and resources needed to spark creativity and learning among her students.
