Starting today, and lasting through the summer, certified energy analysts will be canvassing across Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties providing sign up information about our Quick Home Energy Check-Up program. If you are interested in the check-up, you’ll be able to sign up for a walkthrough at a future date.

What is a Quick Home Energy Check-Up?

A Quick Home Energy Check-up is done by a certified Energy Analyst who walks through your home and provides a visual assessment of the heating and cooling systems, windows, doors and other ways to improve energy efficiency. To ease concerns about potential scams, all canvassers will have a badge with a Pepco logo and a QR code to verify information. Customers can learn more by visiting pepco.com/verify or by calling 1-866-353-5798.

Canvassing hours are Monday through Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the following areas in Maryland: Olney, Silver Spring, Beltsville, College Park, District Heights, Greenbelt, Lanham, Riverdale, Suitland and Upper Marlboro.
