Celebrating Delmarva Power’s Community Champions

Community impact takes many forms — mentoring students, supporting families in need, creating spaces for healing, and lending a helping hand when it matters most. At Delmarva Power, our team members bring this spirit of service to life every day through volunteerism that strengthens neighborhoods across Delaware and Maryland.

This year, we’re proud to shine a spotlight on three colleagues whose efforts go above and beyond, earning them the recognition as 2025 Exelon Foundation Employee Volunteer Award recipients.

Now in its 20th year, the Employee Volunteer Awards program pairs this honor with $5,000 grants for each winner’s chosen nonprofit, multiplying the impact of their service.

Learn more about our 2025 Employee Volunteer Award recipients:

  • Elisia Fields, Senior Associate

Oshun’s Garden

Elisia is dedicated to creating spaces where women can heal and connect. She volunteers with Oshun’s Garden Inc., a grassroots nonprofit on Maryland’s Eastern Shore that supports Black women impacted by violence.

Through her leadership in programs like Sista Circles, she helps foster safe, empowering environments for survivors to share their stories. Her commitment earned her the organization’s Lifeline Award, highlighting the vital role she plays in advancing its mission and supporting women on their healing journeys.

  • Christian Church-Guy, Senior Communications Specialist

Autism Delaware

Christian’s connection to Autism Delaware is deeply personal. As a parent of a child with autism, she knows firsthand the importance of inclusion and community support.

Through her volunteer work, she helps create welcoming spaces where children and families can connect, learn, and thrive. Her compassion and advocacy are helping the organization expand programs and reduce waitlists, ensuring more families across the state can access critical services. Christian has turned her personal experience into a source of strength and impact for others.

  • Anthony Colarulo, Security Specialist of Infrastructure Protection

Unite for HER

After more than 20 years serving his community as a police officer, Anthony continues to give back through his volunteer work with Unite for HER, a national organization supporting women undergoing breast and ovarian cancer treatment.

He rolls up his sleeves to assemble care boxes, move supplies, and deliver essentials, and he inspires his peers to volunteer alongside him — multiplying the impact. Anthony’s dedication helps ensure more patients can access therapies that bring comfort and improve quality of life.
