After one month of deployment, Atlantic City Electric line workers and support staff, along with colleagues from Delmarva Power, Pepco, BGE, ComEd, and PECO, who have been working long days to help restore power to the communities of Puerto Rico have returned.
The work our crews performed was difficult, but impactful and rewarding. Efforts were focused in the Caguas region – one of the hardest hit areas of Puerto Rico whose residents have been without power since September.
“The group down here as a whole has been working together as a team to restore power to the people of Puerto Rico,” said Jim Gamble, distribution supervisor. “There’s different situations every day that we come upon…it takes the professionalism and expertise of every single person here on this team to solve daily issues and to restore power to the people.”
